Everyone knows what volleyball is, a sport with 2 teams who use their hands to knock a ball over a net. The Défi sportif welcomes teams from rehabilitation centres whose players live with a physical disability. Matches last to a minimum of 25 points and a team is winning by a 2 points difference with the opposant. To facilitate play, the ball used is much lighter than a traditional volleyball.

Transportation :

Once again this year, athletes and accompanists can use a free of charge shuttle service during the event, courtesy of STM (Société de Transport de Montréal), the official carrier of the Défi sportif. Further more, athletes arriving from out-of-town can request transportation from the airport, train or bus station to their hotel.
