Banners bearing the effigy of the Défi sportif have been installed just about everywhere on the island of Montréal. Those exterior advertising media have been affixed to street lamps and will be flying on numerous Montréal streets until May 3.

This promotional tool has been offered free of charge by the City of Montréal. Graphic design firm Kolegram designed the banners. Chantal Petitclerc, a Défi sportif spokesperson for 11 years running is top of the bill. As all 2009 communication tools, the banners have been produced in a tricolour palette, red, blue and green.
