Maxime Gagnon, Operations manager at the Défi sportif, received the Robert-Lefebvre award, which, since 1999, is given to a person who made an exceptional contribution to wheelchair sports.

“It is the first award I receive from my peers”, declared the laureate. “After 15 years in the milieu, being recognized in this particular way is quite an honour. Many people deserved it. Being selected touches me immensely!”
It goes without saying that this award takes on very special significance for the people at the Défi sportif since it was named in memory of Monique Lefebvre’s father, founder and Chief executive officer of the event.
The Défi sportif team is obviously immensely proud to have such an invaluable person within its ranks. Bravo Maxime!
