For 27 years now, the Défi sportif has allowed thousands of élite and up-and -coming athletes with deficiencies to outdo themselves, fulfil themselves, get together and also have fun.
Thus, in a little over three months, more than 3000 athletes from about 20 countries will grace the Montréal public with breathtaking performances. From April 27 to May 2, 2010, those competitors will blow our minds taking part in one of the 14 sports on the card. New this year, the World championship of hockey for amputee athletes will be the second SUPER FINAL in the history of the Défi sportif. An exciting sporting meet well worth a detour!
Volunteers: the silent force
The smooth running of the Défi sportif rests with a huge team of volunteers. So, we seek the implication of no less than 900 volunteers who will be called on in the following areas: reception, communications, competition, theme events, financing and logistics.
If you have a bit of time to offer in exchange for an unforgettable experience, the volunteering opportunities are numerous.
How do you register?
Registration is done on line and started on January 20. To register, select the “REGISTRATION” section under the “VOLUNTEERS” tab.
