For a fourth consecutive year, Défi sportif AlterGo will host the Boccia World Open from April 30 to May 4, 2019.
This international level competition promises to be very popular as over 100 athletes are expected at the Maurice-Richard arena in Montreal.
Entrance is free for everyone, whether to encourage one athlete or an entire delegation, or to discover what boccia is all about.
For the athletes, this tournament is a not-to-be missed opportunity to earn points towards the 2019 World Championships.
By hosting an event sanctioned by the BISFed for a sixth consecutive year, Défi sportif AlterGo is consolidating its role as a reference in the organization of large-scale accessible events.
At the last World Open in April 2018, some 75 players from ten countries tested their skills in accuracy for six days. In the end, Brazil finished first in the standings with two gold medals.
