Défi sportif AlterGo is organising the Canadian Wheelchair Rugby Championship in collaboration with Parasports Québec and the Canadian Wheelchair Rugby Association.

Packages
Défi sportif AlterGo negotiates top quality all-inclusive hotel package agreements for its participants. These packages include a room for two, three meals a day, shuttle from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the competition venue.
Transportation
It is possible to use the event transport service when lodging at one of the events official hotels for a fee.
Meals
The package includes breakfast, and supper at Hôtel Universel Montréal. Lunches will be served at the competition venue. Meal vouchers are distributed at the hotel, at the Défi sportif AlterGo kiosk. During the event, athletes and volunteers can enjoy quality meals prepared by Compass Group. Healthy full meals are served at each competition venue.
Off-site Meals
Located on the lobby level of the Hotel Universel Montreal Le Toit Rouge Bistro-Bar offers athletes and guests delicious meals in a warm and comfortable atmosphere.
CASA
For many years now, Défi sportif AlterGo athletes and volunteers have appreciated the CASA’S on each competition venue. You are welcome to use these friendly facilities, where music creates a relaxing and laid-back atmosphere. Snacks and drinks are provided. You will find lounges at some competition venues and hotels.
Medical team
The professionals of Kinatex Sports Physio will be present at the competition venue to help athletes and volunteers. These therapists offer bandage services, first aid as well as tips on warm-ups and stretching.
Please note that Défi sportif AlterGo is not responsible for any medical fees.
Emergency technical aid repair services
During the Défi sportif AlterGo, l’Institut de réadaptation Gingras-Lindsay-de-Montréal du CIUSSS Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal (IRGLM) provides athletes with emergency repairs on technical aids (wheelchairs, orthotic devices and prosthesis), between 9 am and 9 pm for the whole duration of the event.
Please note that if your aid does not belong to the Régie de l’assurance-maladie du Québec (RAMQ), the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) or the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ), you will have to pay for the repairs on your technical aids.
