The Défi sportif AlterGo presented a virtual boccia challenge in collaboration with the Association québécoise des sports pour paralytiques cérébraux and Boccia Canada. It all starts with a dream. The dream, one day, to be at the top of one’s sport, to be on the top step of the podium. However, many hopeful athletes do not reach their full potential because of a lack of adequate support. Attend the presentation of the first-ever bursary to several up-and-coming Quebec athletes by clicking on this link. Athletes of all levels come together to talk about their experiences at the Défi sportif AlterGo, the importance of the Défi sportif AlterGo and the importance of sport in their lives. Host Nancy Audet is surrounded by panelists Chantal Petitclerc, spokesperson for the Défi sportif AlterGo, Marylou Martineau, member of the national boccia team, Woody Belfort, developmental wheelchair basketball player and Jonathan Daigle, young parahockey hopeful.
