Défi sportif AlterGo is rooted in 1984. Its history shows its contribution to social inclusion for people with functional limitations. It is still guided by the same values upon which it was built.
Monique Lefebvre, founder
Monique Lefebvre has always wanted to change society’s perception of people with functional limitations. This led her to launch the Défi sportif des athlètes handicapés in 1984, now known as the Défi sportif AlterGo.
Board of directors
The board of directors of Défi sportif AlterGo is comprised of people who are strongly interested in social inclusion. The organization’s members appoint directors at their annual general meeting.
